E-Classrooms

There are a few portable presentation systems available on campus for Dixie State College faculty and staff use. Contact Jared Johnson at 652-7595 for details. There are several classrooms that have been enhanced to teach with technology. These classrooms all have similar capabilities.

Capabilities:

• Ceiling mounted Barco data-video projector
• Computer (Windows or Macintosh) with Presentation software
• Iomega Zip Drive
• ELMO document camera for displaying overheads, printed materials, slides, etc.
• Stereo sound system
• Crestron touch panel for controlling devices and switching input to the projector
• Stereo SVHS VCR
• Videodisk player

Other Technology Enhanced Classrooms:
There are several other classrooms on campus that don't have complete automation such as the classrooms above, but have some enhanced capability such as computers, projection, or both.
